Pre K & Kindergarten Round Up

Castleberry ISD is offering three Parent Information Meeting & Registration Nights for the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Program for the 2017-2018 school year. Questions will be answered concerning program guidelines and qualifications. Students who qualify may also submit paperwork and register at the meeting. Parents may attend any of these meetings, regardless of their home campus. Each meeting will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on April 17th at A.V. Cato Elementary, on April 24th at Castleberry Elementary, and on May 1st at Joy James Elementary. Tuesday through Friday following each meeting, registration will be open at that campus. Parents may complete registration paperwork at any campus, regardless of their home campus on the following dates: A.V. Cato Elementary, April 18-21; Castleberry Elementary, April 25-28; and Joy James Elementary, May 2-5, and will be registered at the students’ home campus for the 2017-18 school year. The following items are needed to register your child for Pre-K/Kindergarten: • Parent ID (Driver license, State ID or Mexican Consular ID) • Certified copy of student’s birth certificate • Student’s social security card • Valid immunization record • Current utility bill (water, gas, or electricity) or copy of a current lease agreement dated within the last three months • Pre-K students that do not qualify by language will need to bring proof of income (last two check stubs) or proof of military status
